Take Stock in Children Scholarship

Take Stock In Children

8th grade students may be eligible for  a Take Stock in Children College Scholarship to help Pasco County students from economically disadvantaged families go to college. The scholar’s progress is continuously monitored through college. To be considered for this scholarship opportunity (up to 4 years tuition-paid), the student must meet income eligibility requirements, agree to remain crime & drug free, and get good grades with good attendance.

This scholarship opportunity is available to students in 8th grade. All 8th graders will receive an informational handout about the Take Stock in Children scholarship on November 3rd to bring home. If you feel that your child qualifies and you would like to receive an application, students must return the bottom portion of the form. Students should submit their request slips to the back office, or give them directly to Ms. Northcutt, 8th grade School Counselor. Application packets will be given to students who request one and these need to be completed in a timely manner. All completed applications must be turned in no later than December 8th, 2014.
