State End Of Course MS Requirements:
Governor Scott signed recent legislation which impacts students for this year. Please note that for Middle School students who are currently taking Algebra I, the following policies apply:
- Students enrolled in the course must take the EOC Exam
- The EOC Exam must constitute 30% of the courses Final Year End Grade
- Pass the course to earn credit
- Pass the EOC Exam to earn a HS Diploma
For Middle School students who are currently enrolled in Biology or Geometry, the following policies apply:
- Students enrolled in the course must take the EOC Exam
- The EOC Exam must constitute 30% of the courses Final Year End Grade
- Pass the course to earn credit
For students who entered Middle School as a 6th grader in the 2012-13 school year and are currently enrolled in Civics:
- Course credit required for promotion to High School
- The EOC Exam must constitute 30% of the course’s Final Year End Grade
For current 6th grade students (who entered Middle School as a 6th grader in the 2013-14 school year) who are currently enrolled in Civics:
- Course credit required for promotion to High School
- The EOC Exam must constitute 30% of the course’s Final Year End Grade
