Congratulations to Josh Zappe for being named Pasco County Schools 2016-2017 Noninstructional Nonbargaining (NNB) Employee of the year! Josh is one of our FNS Managers at Land O’ Lakes High School (LOLHS). The award was presented on Friday, January 29, 2016 at the Education Celebration that was hosted by the Pasco Education Foundation.
Mr. Joshua Zappe graduated from high school and began working as a cook at a hospital, where he discovered his passion for cooking. After starting a family, Mr. Zappe decided to transition into other food service ventures. Josh moved to Florida from Philadelphia in the spring of 2011, where he joined the staff at River Ridge Middle/High School as the Food and Nutrition Services Assistant Manager. He quickly was promoted to Food and Nutrition Services Manager at Wesley Chapel High School. When the opportunity arose to become the FNS manager at Land O’ Lakes High School, Mr. Zappe was thrilled to be selected. Josh oversees the food services operations at LOLHS, Lakeview Café, and assists with catering events at the Culinary Academy.
