Hello Band Families,
Last Saturday, our students gave their best performance of the season! Despite challenging season with all the rain and field conditions I couldn’t be prouder of their hard work and dedication. Although marching season is over, the fun doesn’t stop here! Below is a quick glance at our a November and December schedules to help you plan ahead.
November 6th – Jazz Gig at The Performing Arts Center at River Ridge. (NEED CHAPERONES)
– Meet in the band room at 8:00am
– We will take a school bus
– Schedule will follow the same format as our previous jazz performance in October
– We should be back by 11am
November 10th – First Symphonic Band Rehearsal
– We will have rehearsals every Tuesday until December 1
– Times will be 1:45pm – 3:45pm
November 11th – Band Pictures
– A professional photographer will photograph all band and guard members in their uniforms
-Individual portraits will be taken during class throughout the day.
November 12th – First Winter Guard Practice 2:30pm – 4:30pm
– Every Wednesday and Tuesday from 2:30pm – 4:30pm
November 12th – All County Auditions at Land O’Lakes High School
– Time: 6pm – 9pm
– Students who are auditioning will receive their assigned times next week
November 16th – Jazz Gig at The Performing Arts Center at River Ridge.
– We are opening for the Crews Lake Middle School Band Concert
– We meet at 6pm at RRHS in jazz concert attire (red shirts)
– We should be done by 7:30pm
November 19th – Great American Teach-In @ Hudson Primary Academy (NEED CHAPERONES)
– Marching band meet in band room at 9:30am
– Bring a lunch
– We should be done by 1:30pm
December 3rd- Winter Concert @ The Performing Arts Center at River Ridge
– We will meet at RRHS at 6pm
– Concert starts at 7pm
December 10th – Parade Practice
-From 1:45pm – 2:45pm
December 13th – New Port Richey Winter Parade
-We will meet at 4:30pm and back by 8:30pm
