Hello Everyone,
We had a wonderful night at River Ridge High School last Friday and we are very much looking forward to this Friday’s home game. All our senior members and their parents will be recognized during halftime. Brass and Woodwinds will be providing 3rd quarter snacks. Looking ahead, next week we will compete in our fist band competition, Lion’s Pride at King High School in Tampa. It will be an all-day event. More details will be provided early next week.
Here is a breakdown for Friday, September 25
6:00pm – STUDENTS we will be in BLOCK formation on the practice field. Band students will need to wear black socks, marching shoes, gym shorts and show shirts. Color Guard students will be in their uniforms.
6:00pm – PARENT VOLUNTEERS – if you are chaperoning meet in the band room and we will let you know where help is needed. If you are working the concessions go to the concession stands at the football stadium. THANK YOU!!!
7:30pm – Football Game– Starts at 7:30pm and usually ends around 10:00pm
8:00pm (approximately) – ALL SENIOR PARENTS should meet by the end zone, where the band warms up for halftime. Before the halftime show, seniors will meet up with their family members and walk down the football field in alphabetical order to be recognized.
8:00pm (approximately) – HALFTIME SHOW – the band will perform Runaway Baby.
3rd Quarter Snacks – For this football game BRASS and WOODWINDS will be providing snacks (chips, cookies, ect.) for the band to enjoy during 3rd quarter. Bring your snacks either to the band room during the week or to the concession stands on game day. Thank you!!
10:30pm – Students are ready to be picked up.
