Hello Everyone,
We are entering the final stretch of marching season and the band is finishing strong! You might have heard the exciting news about our band hoodies. If you would like to order a band hoodie please use the order forms in the band room. Payment and order forms are due by November 10th.
Here are our remaining performance dates:
October 27th – Homecoming Game (Percussion and Guard bring 3rd quarter snacks)
5:00pm – Band Room opens for students to suit up for the game
6:00pm – Warm-up on the practice field
6:30pm – March to the Stadium
6:45pm – Perform Halftime Show at Stadium
7:30pm – Game starts
8:30ish – Halftime (Homecoming Court and crowning)
10:00ish – End of game
10:30ish – Arrive at Hudson High School
November 3rd – Away Football Game @ Fivay High School (need chaperones!!)
5:00pm – Band Room opens for students to suit up for the game
6:00pm – Warm-up on the practice field
6:45pm – Leave for Fivay High School
7:30pm – Game starts
8:30ish – Halftime (our band performs first)
10:30ish – Game over
11:00ish – Arrive at Hudson High School
November 4th – MPA – Marching Performance Assessment @ Hernando High School (need chaperones!!)
This is the BIG event we have been working for since July! Bring your cowbells, rattles and posters to cheer on the band as they take the field! MPA will take place at Hernando High School in Brooksville. Tickets for spectators are $15 dollars and must be purchased at: https://teachtix.com/fba5/fba-district-5-marching-mpa. Parking will be $5 dollars. We will need 8 chaperones who will get in free. Please let me know if you are available.
MPA Itinerary – November 4th
1:30pm – Final marching rehearsal at Hudson Hish Stadium
4:00pm – Dinner (provided by boosters:)
5:00pm – Leave for Hernando High School
7:00pm – Warm-Up
7:45pm – Performance
8:45pm – Results
10:00pm – Arrive at Hudson HS
Thank you, parent volunteers who have been sweating in the concession stand, moving our equipment and keeping our students safe and hydrated in the stands. Also thank you for all the wonderful snacks for 3rd quarter!
