We will be adding in math, creating symbols in Social Studies and reviewing our power words. Remember our class parties are this Thursday and the movie day is Friday. Send in a blanket and a water bottle just like you did last time.
Looking forward to a week full of learning and fun!
Happy Holidays from

Please bring in a new pair of shoes and socks to help out a child at a nearby school right here in Pasco County. They are due by Friday, Dec. 13. Thank you for your generous support in this charitable event.
The Holiday Boutique is this week. Your child will have 2 opportunities to shop if you are choosing to participate in this event. Your teacher should have e-mailed you or sent a note to let you know what two days you can preview and/or shop. If you do not know, please e-mail your child’s teacher to find out.
We hope to see everyone at Holiday Under the Lights.
Ms. Bradford was married on December 1, 2013. She will be on her honeymoon this week and will return back to school on December 9.
Each year our student council sponsors a special program for Pasco county students called Holiday Footprints. Our school collects brand new sneakers and socks for students at a local school who may only get new shoes one time a year. This is a very rewarding tradition. We ask that you consider picking up a new pair of shoes and a pair of socks while doing your holiday shopping. Great deals are often available – please just try to pick up a pair of shoes in your own child’s size. Shoes will be hand delivered by Ms. Batista just before the holidays.
On Halloween it was announced that Ms. Bradford won Teacher of the Year at Trinity Elementary!
On that same day we (the kindergarten teachers) won the costume contest and we got our picture on the cover of the Florida Department of Education’s Facebook page! It was a fantastic day.

Thanks to all the parents that donated items for our booth “Witches Brew”, we were a big hit. We really appreciate the donations. The leftovers will go into our treasure boxes and they will be used for other events.
On Friday, October 25th, Trinity Elementary will be holding our annual Fall Festival from 5-8. We are so excited! This is a fantastic event to come out and enjoy the fun with the staff and PTO of Trinity Elementary and to help raise money for your child’s team.
The Explorers will be hosting a booth that is sure to be a hit called—Witches Brew.
How Witches Brew is Played: Witch cauldrons will be placed in a line about 6 inches apart.
Players will be given 6 stuffed toys/bean bags to toss into the witch cauldrons. The players try to toss the bean bag into the “witches brew” in order — starting with the closest to the farthest. Once a bean bag is in the “witches brew” they move to the next pot.
How Players Win a Prize:
0 – 1 Bean Bags into the brew = Consolation Prize
2 – 3 Bean Bags into the brew = Middle Prize
4 – 5 Bean Bags into the brew = Middle Prize
All 6 Bean Bags into the brew = Top Prize
We could really use your help if you are able. Donations of various type items as listed above (consolation, middle, and top prizes) would be greatly appreciated! Great places to shop include: iParty, Oriental Trading Co., dollar section at Target etc… Hint, if your child likes and wants it, then you know it will make a great prize. All proceeds from this booth will go to benefit the Explorers Team. If you are able to help out with donating items, please fill out the bottom portion and return to school in your child’s folder ASAP. When donating the items, please label Fall Festival so teachers and children do not accidentally place items into the treasure box.
We hope that you will all stop by the Witches Brew Game on Friday night, October 25th with your family and friends. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
As always, we appreciate the support of our parents! We hope to see you all at the Fall Festival Friday, October 25th from 5:00-8:00.
Thank you again for your continued support!
