Fall Festival

On Friday, October 25th, Trinity Elementary will be holding our annual Fall Festival from 5-8.  We are so excited!  This is a fantastic event to come out and enjoy the fun with the staff and PTO of Trinity Elementary and to help raise money for your child’s team.

The Explorers will be hosting a booth that is sure to be a hit called—Witches Brew.

How Witches Brew is Played:  Witch cauldrons will be placed in a line about 6 inches apart.

Players will be given 6 stuffed toys/bean bags to toss into the witch cauldrons. The players try to toss the bean bag into the “witches brew” in order — starting with the closest
to the farthest. Once a bean bag is in the “witches brew” they move to the next pot.

How Players Win a Prize:

0 – 1 Bean Bags into the brew = Consolation Prize

2 – 3 Bean Bags into the brew = Middle Prize

4 – 5 Bean Bags into the brew = Middle Prize

All 6 Bean Bags into the brew = Top Prize

We could really use your help if you are able.  Donations of various type items as listed above (consolation, middle, and top prizes) would be greatly appreciated!  Great places to shop include: iParty, Oriental Trading Co., dollar section at Target etc…  Hint, if your child likes and wants it, then you know it will make a great prize.  All proceeds from this booth will go to benefit the Explorers Team.  If you are able to help out with donating items, please fill out the bottom portion and return to school in your child’s folder ASAP.  When donating the items, please label Fall Festival so teachers and children do not accidentally place items into the treasure box.

We hope that you will all stop by the Witches Brew Game on Friday night, October 25th with your family and friends.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

As always, we appreciate the support of our parents!  We hope to see you all at the Fall Festival Friday, October 25th from 5:00-8:00.

Thank you again for your continued support!

Don’t forget…the classes with 100% participation (regardless of amount) will receive a Popsicle Party! The class with the highest total donations will receive an Ice Cream Sundae Party! Every donation received will be entered into a drawing to win a FREE 4-pack of Fall Festival wristbands!
You can also check with your employer to see if they match donations! All donations are 100% tax deductible.
It’s a tight race….keep the donations coming!
Thank you!

Every $ dollar counts….

Please send in a donation for the “CanStruction” event to help out our local food bank. Just think, if every kindergartner brought in just $1.00 we would have $90.00! That is a lot of cans to help out our community and to begin a good foundation for the structure. Please take a look at the link below for Volunteer Food Way, to see what they do and some of the past “CanStructions”!

CANstruction- read how you can support this event.

We are, once again, participating in the Volunteer Way’s CANstruction event this year with Student Council.  CANstruction is a design/build competition where a team works with a guest architect to design and build a structure entirely out of canned food.  Last year, we built a boot in order to represent “Stomping out Hunger”.  This year, the fifth grade student council members will be working with an architect to come up with ideas and design our structure.
As a school, we are currently collecting donations in order to purchase food to use in building our structure.  This food will all be donated to the Volunteer Way’s food bank at the end of the event. Any dollar amount will help support this event. Please send in donations between now and September 17.
The new CANstruction date is Friday, October 18th and the structures will be open to viewing from October 21st through 25th at the West Pasco Government Center – 7530 Little Road.
