Happy October!
This Friday we have our Homecoming game and the band will be performing after the game for all our alumni and band parents!! We will need a good amount of parent volunteers to help with moving percussion equipment, ice down water bottles and bringing everything to the stands. Brass will be bringing snacks for 3rd quarter to the band room before 6pm. THANK YOU!!!
Saturday, October 22nd is our first marching band competition: Tampa Bay Fall Music Games at Riverview High School. Many great bands from the Tampa Bay area will be competing. It would be FANTASTIC to have a cheering section in the stands with shakers shaking, cowbells ringing and cheering as our band takes the field!! (Make sure to go to the Riverview HS at 11311 Boyette Rd, Riverview, FL 33569 and not the Sarasota, Riverview HS)
Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 at the gate, parking $5 which includes a program. You can purchase tickets and get more information by following this link: Tampa Bay Fall Music Games at Riverview High School
We will need 10 chaperones which will get in FREE!!

Here is the itinerary for Saturday, October 22
• Students will need to wear their show shirt, black socks, and marching shoes.
• Our band boosters will be providing lunch😊
• Bring money for concession food (menu in attachment)
October 22nd
Noon – Dress Rehearsal at Hudson High School
2:30 pm – Lunch provided by band boosters
3:30pm – Leave Hudson HS
5:00pm – Arrive @ Riverview High School 11311 Boyette Rd, Riverview, FL 33569 (NOT SARASOTA)
7:00pm – Performance
7:30pm – Watch the other bands (bring money for concession food)
10:00pm – Awards
Midnight – Arrive back at Hudson High School
