Your child should be…..

*practicing their power words nightly with an adult (1G, 2G, 1B dependent on their level)
*reading independently for 15 minutes nightly using Bookshelf and their Take
Home/Baggie Books
*practicing their math fluency cards nightly with an adult
*read to nightly (books that are above their grade level)
*watching Math Videos ( math link above)and Curious George Skills on Think Central

Dr. Seuss’ Reading Oath

We will be celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday the week of March 2-6, 2015. We will be learning about how he became an author and an illustrator. We will be doing lots of  activities surrounding his books.

Please be sure to send in your child’s Valentine’s Day box, cards and snack items by Wednesday, February 11.
