Community Clean-up Project

On Thursday, your child(ren) brought home a card to document their cleanup efforts. Students that wish to participate will pick up litter around the community from March 31 – April 11. They will be responsible for recording the number of pieces of litter picked up between the dates. We ask that parents sign the card to show that they picked up the litter. The first batch of cards will be due on April 11th.
A second cycle that will take place from April 14 – April 21 (you will get a new set of cards for the second cycle on April 14). The second batch of cards will be due on April 21st.
The totals from the first cycle will be added to the totals from the second cycle. The top intermediate and top primary classes will win a popsicle party to be held on April 22, in celebration of Earth Day.

Welcome Back!

Your child is continuing to grow everyday as a reader. Please be sure to be reading at home nightly with your child and have them spend time reading independently. They should be reading independently for at least 15 minutes everyday. The Bookshelf App and/or web site has updated some of their services so please be sure to check out the upgrades. It is a wonderful resource for independent reading.
