My name is Carol Kelly and this will be my 32nd year teaching and my 26th at Trinity. I have taught K, 1st, and 2nd grade and combinations of all three. Kindergarten is my favorite! I graduated from USF in 1985 (Go Bulls!) and received my Master’s Degree in Education with a concentration in reading from St. Leo University in 2012.

I am married and have two children. My husband John is a third-grade teacher at Starkey K8. My daughter Andrea is an FSU alum and a former teacher. She is currently the managing partner of Carbone Custom Builders along with her husband Dan. One of their projects was building our new home in Hernando County. My son Jake, is a UCF alum and is co owner of BCI Construction and Project Manager, his wife Abby works remotely for a health company.

I have 7 grandchildren! My daughter and her husband have 4 sons, Chase age 9, and is in fourth grade ri Thomas age 7 is in second grade, and Luke is 4 years old and is attending Pre-K part time all at TES, the baby is Nico and he is 7 months old. My son and his wife have three boys, Oliver age 8 in third grade in Hernando County, and Wesley who just turned 4 is in Pre-K and Cole who is 2 is in daycare. They all live locally so I get to have a lot of grandma time!

We love to go on road trips across the US and Canada. We are drafting plans for Banff and Calgary next summer.

I am looking forward to a great year as we partner together to help your child learn and grow.
They will “explore” many new things and blaze their own trail as a “Trinity Trailblazer”.
