Nature Coast Regional Envirothon

Welcome to the Nature Coast Regional Envirothon information page.  Here you will find information, resources, and links about the Envirothon and study materials that will prepare you for participation in the regional and state Envirothon.

The 2025 Nature Coast Envirothon will be held on February 12th at Crews Lake Park, 16739 Crews Lake Dr, Spring Hill, FL 34610 . The registration deadline is Friday, January 15th, 2025.

The Registration Forms, Rules, and Study materials can be found below.  All test questions are based on the information contained in the study material. Tests are composed of multiple-choice questions. Many of the questions require hands-on activities to determine the correct answer.

The highest scoring team from each County and the overall winner are eligible to compete at the State Envirothon competition, on April 5th, 2025 and location is TBD

Forest ecology, tree identification, insects, diseases, timber measurements, forest management, urban forestry, forest economics, etc.

4. Wildlife

Identification, habitat, foods, diseases, rules and regulations, management, etc.

5. Aquatics 

Water ecology, water chemistry, plants and animals living in or around water, water quality, water conservation, etc.
