Finals for Music K-12 in 2020

End of Course Exams are during the month of May 2020.

It will be helpful for your child to review through Quaver.  Please use MyPascoConnect to log into our online curriculum.  Their user name is their 6 digit Student ID number (aka, lunch number) and their password is district generated, known as their “crazy” password. It’s a 5 letter word starting with a capital letter, followed by two numbers and a keyboard symbol.

At the end of the 2019-2020 school year, the District School Board of Pasco County will be administering Final Exams in art, physical education, and music. This is due to a Florida state law 1008.22 passed in 2011, also known as the merit pay law, in which every course is required to have an EOC/Final Exam. Odessa music students in grade grade 5 will be taking this exam on a computer or laptop during the last month of the school year. The test will be in a multiple-choice format, and the test items will be based on focus standards taught by music teachers throughout the school year.

Students in grades K through 4 will take a school based end of year exam.

To prepare for this exam, please encourage your child to focus on the learning at hand during music, and above all, enjoy themselves while actively learning! We are confident that they will be prepared!
