We are getting closer and closer to our Atlanta trip and we have some April adventures. Here are the details:
April 12th – Our Jazz Band has been invited to play for the residence at Solaris Healthcare Bayonet Point. We will meet at Solaris Healthcare 7210 Beacon Woods Dr, Hudson Fl 34667 at 2pm and perform at 2:30pm till 3:00pm. Concert attire will be our red dress shirt and black dress pants.
April 22nd – Annual Car Wash Battle from 9:30am till 12:30pm. Brass vs. Woodwinds vs. Percussion/Guard. The winning section will get a pizza party on the last day of school!! Bring towels, buckets, and sponges. Locations will be announced the week of the battle.
April 29th – Our Jazz Band has been invited for the Pasco Blueberry Jamboree! We will meet at 12128 State Road 52, Hudson, FL 34669 at 12 noon. Our performance time is 12:30pm – 1:30pm. Concert attire will be our red dress shirt and black dress pants. Bring some money to enjoy the food truck goodness!!
May 1st – Atlanta Trip Meeting at 7pm
All students and their parents who will be joining us on the Atlanta trip will need to attend this mandatory meeting. We will talk about trip procedures to ensure for an AWESOME band trip experience.
May 1st and 4th – Atlanta Band Rehearsal after school. To make sure we have a great showing at the band competition in Atlanta we will have 2 rehearsals after school from 1:45 – 3:45. Let’s do this!!!
Our mandatory band camp will be at Hudson Academy again. Please be very mindful when making summer vacation plans. Having everyone at band camp is vital to another Superior marching season!
