I would like to let you know of a change to the band’s calendar, which really made many of our students very happy today. We were able to find another band competition to perform in. We won’t be going the Lion’s Pride competition on October 15th and instead we’ll be performing, October 22nd at the Tampa Bay Fall Music Games at Riverview High School. We did this switch so students can enjoy getting ready for the Homecoming Dance. It will also work in the band’s favor, by gaining another week of polishing the show for competition.

This year’s band has a really good chance of doing well at the competition. Getting another week to polish will work in our favor. It’s important to have 100% attendance at these performances. The feedback from the judges, and the first time experience of playing in a competitive setting, will set us up nicely for the very big event called Marching Performance Assessment, November 4th.

We will need chaperones, and many family members and friends supporting the Class Act Band in the stands (with noise makers!!) For more information about the Tampa Bay Fall Music Games please follow the link: https://www.riverviewhsband.org/fmbcregional

Have a great day!
