Monologue:
Monologue: “Our Air Force goes back to World War 1, when those young fellas flew new-fangled, rickety planes into the air. They were brave and daring heroes and their traditions continue with today’s vets. Well, let’s see.. If I remember, it was December. (shakes head) make that November. The end of World War 1. Our soldiers were stuck on cold, wet, muddy trenches while bullets whizzed overhead and bombs exploded all around. Then a truce was declared on a chilly November day.
Our coun-try stands on the should-ders of those who gave their all,
of humble men and women who an-swered their countries call.
No-bly they gave of them-selves to go to fo-reign shores,
Far from home and fam-i-ly, to o-pem free-dom’s door.
