Today we updated all school websites to WordPress 4.9.9. This was a security update.
WordPress 5.0.1 is now available, but it changes the way WordPress looks and works. We can mitigate some of that, but we don’t want to mess around with your WordPress editor right before vacation. So we’ll deal with that in January. We wouldn’t mess with your site right before vacation!
