My 2-D I classes are researching through a webquest Day of the Dead: Http://zunal.com/webquest.php?w=330658. The students follow the tasks and webpages to learn more about this cultural event in Mexico. My 2-D II class is learning all about Danny Haas, who is an Orlando-based artist. His most famous art deals with the alter-egos and identity of superheroes. My students actually got to interview him through facebook. They wrote him questions, we are waiting for his response. The student researched his art and chose their favorite to write about. They will be creating self-portraits with one-half is themselves and the other half is their “alter-ego.” I will post the outcome of our projects ASAP.
