3rd grade students created the Positive & Negative designs using complementary colors. They used value and complementary colors to create the ice cream cones. They used lines to show movement in their line landscape.<\/p>\n

2nd grade was working on the Element of Art = SHAPE. (the difference between organic and geometric shapes)<\/p>\n

Concept = Native American History<\/p>\n

2nd grade worked on creating a story using Native American symbols. They also worked on a large collaborative project doing the same.<\/p>\n

Students reviewed primary and secondary colors. Then they chose 1 color to create a tint and a shade of that color.<\/p>\n

Tint is white mixed with a little of their color choice. It is a lighter color.<\/p>\n

Shade is their color mixed with a little black. It is a darker color.<\/p>\n
