Due to a Florida state law 1008.22 passed in 2011, also known as the merit pay law, in which every course is required to have an EOC, all Pasco County students in grades kindergarten through grade 5 took a computer based exam in art, music and PE. The test is in a multiple-choice format, test items are based on the learning goals & focus standards taught by the teachers throughout the school year. It is a 30 minute timed test. Instructors read all the test questions and the answer selections to our kindergarten and first grade students.

I have included a tab that details all of the art learning goals and vocabulary for each grade level. We will cover each one of these learning goals and all of the vocabulary throughout the school year. The tests were created by the district coming directly from our learning goals and vocabulary.

To prepare for this exam, please encourage your child to focus on the learning at hand during their classes, and above all, enjoy themselves while actively learning! We are confident that they will be prepared!
