Dear Band Families,
\nI hope everyone is doing well as we head into the final month of the school year. It has been a fantastic season, and we are excited to finish strong together. This Saturday, May 1st<\/strong> we\u2019ll be holding a fundraiser at Chipotle<\/a> from 5pm to 9pm<\/strong>. A portion of all sales (25%) will be donated directly to support our band. Invite everyone you know! Here are all the details for May:<\/p>\n

May 7th, 7:00pm Spring Concert @ River Ridge High School <\/strong>
\nWe are excited for our concert next Thursday at the Center For The Arts at River Ridge<\/a>. Our boosters will also be holding a 50\/50 Raffle during the evening. They will be accepting cash or credit card for a chance to win and support our program.<\/p>\n

Arrival Time for Students:<\/strong> 5:00pm (dressed in concert attire and jazz reds)
\nSound Check<\/strong>: 5:30pm (everyone in their seats and ready to go)
\nAuditorium doors open to public<\/strong>: 6:40pm (please do not sneak in before)
\nConcert Start Time:<\/strong> 7pm
\nConcert End time<\/strong>: 9:00pm (approximately)<\/p>\n

May 16, 9:30am \u2013 12:30pm Annual Car Wash Battle for the Bucket.<\/strong>
\nPercussion and Guard won it the last two years. Brass came in a very close 2nd. Which section will be next to be engraved on the bucket?!?!?!!! Bring buckets, sponges, and lots of towels! Drawing for locations will take place this Monday at rehearsal.<\/p>\n

May 21, 7:00pm Band Awards Night at Hudson High School Gym<\/strong> (semi-formal dress)
\nEveryone is invited to our huge potluck feast! We will recognize our outstanding students, announce our leadership for next year, and present our 2026 Halftime Show! To make sure we don\u2019t have too much of something we will divide up who will bring what for our feast. If you have a signature dish you would like to bring, please do!!
\nPercussion\/Guard<\/strong> \u2013 Beverages, sides or appetizers.
\nBrass<\/strong> – Entrees, or vegetable
\nWoodwinds <\/strong> – Beverages, or desserts<\/p>\n

Please keep these very important dates in mind when making summer vacation plans for our mandatory Band Camp
\nBand Camp 2026 – All camps will be at Hudson High School<\/strong>
\nPercussion & Guard, July 20-23, 9am-Noon
\nLeadership Camp, July 20, 1pm – 5pm, and July 21-23 9am – Noon
\nBand Camp, July 27- July 31, 1pm – 9pm<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been a great year, from marching season through our concert season. I\u2019m proud of our students and already looking forward to next year!<\/p>\n
