October is here and we have our first marching band competition next Saturday, October 7th King High School in Tampa. Many great bands from the bay area will be performing.\u00a0 There will also be a very exciting drum battle.\u00a0 It would be AWESOME to have you there as our cheering section with shakers shaking, and cowbells chiming as the Class Act Band takes the field!!!!<\/p>\n

\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002\u2002Tickets will cost $15. Children under 10 get in free. Students who are performing get in free and do not need a wristband to get in. Parking is limited but free.\u00a0We will need 10 chaperones who will receive a complementary ticket. If you have not registered yet, please register at:\u00a0<\/a>https:\/\/www.pasco.k12.fl.us\/comm\/page\/volunteer<\/a>\u00a0<\/a>and call this number\u00a0(813) 794-2207 to get approval expedited. If you are still waiting for approval, call that same number.\u00a0Please email me at\u00a0cadams@pasco.k12.fl.us<\/a>\u00a0if you can chaperone WE REALLY, REALLY NEED CHAPERONES!!!.<\/div>\n

Here is an itinerary for the\u00a0Class\u00a0Act\u00a0Band:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Students will need to wear their show shirt, black socks, and marching shoes.<\/li>\n
  • Lunch provided by Hudson Band Boosters, thank you!!<\/li>\n
  • Bring money for concession food<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • 9:00am \u2013 Dress Rehearsal at Hudson High School<\/li>\n
    • 11:15am \u2013 Lunch provided by boosters<\/li>\n
    • 11:45am \u2013 Load equipment truck and busses<\/li>\n
    • 12:15pm – Hudson High School<\/li>\n
    • 1:15pm \u2013 Arrive at King High School,\u00a06815 N. 56th Street Tampa, FL 33610<\/i><\/li>\n
    • 2:15pm \u2013 Warm-up<\/li>\n
    • 3:00pm \u2013 Performance<\/li>\n
    • 3:30pm \u2013 Watch the other\u00a0bands (bring money for concession food)<\/li>\n
    • 8:30pm \u2013 Awards<\/li>\n
    • 10:00pm \u2013 Arrive back at Hudson High School<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
