Hello Everyone,<\/p>\n
The music never stops playing and that phrase can\u2019t be any truer when it comes to the Class Act Band! We made a marching season happen, we had a virtual winter concert and now we are preparing for a Spring Concert. Today I even heard a good amount of students say: \u201cthis is fun!\u201d<\/p>\n
Here are some dates I would like to share with you:<\/p>\n
April 26th<\/strong> – 6:30pm Band Booster meeting and everyone is invited. We will be planning logistics for the concert and awards picnic. We will also vote a new booster board. Thank you for submitting the nominations! We would not be able to run as smoothly without this great parent volunteer organization!<\/p>\n April 30th<\/strong> \u2013 Virtual Solo & Ensemble and Guard MPA at Hudson HS. We have a good amount of participants!! Students will either perform live or submit a recording and receive feedback from the judge on this date.<\/p>\n May 3rd & May 10th<\/strong> – 2pm till 4pm – After School Concert Rehearsal<\/p>\n May 7th<\/strong> \u2013 Band Leadership Applications due via email \u2013 cadams@pasco.k12.fl.us Applications can be found in the band room.<\/p>\n May 17th<\/strong> – 7pm Spring Concert at Hudson HS Football Stadium. This will be a concert you won\u2019t want to miss! I know the students are super excited!!! Students will need to arrive at 5pm in their black concert attire. Gates will open at 6:30pm.<\/p>\n May 22<\/strong> – 6pm Awards Picnic at Hudson HS. We will celebrate the end of the year and recognize our amazing students!<\/p>\n BAND CAMP DATES!!!<\/strong> July 19th till July 22 <\/strong>\u2013 Percussion and Guard Camp The students have been working really hard on their music and I really hope you can make it to the Spring Concert. \nTo get the band started on the right foot we have mandatory band camps. They are fun and free!! Due to construction at Hudson HS we will have the camps at Crews Lake MS. More specifics for the camps will be shared during the summer.<\/p>\n
