Parent Letters for Safer Smarter Teens Class Lessons
Safer Smarter Teens lessons are being taught to students throughout Pasco county. Below are the letters for 6th grade (Letter 1) and for 8th grade (Letter 3):
Here is the letter for parents of 7th and 8th grade:
Hurricane Irma
Children and teenagers can become anxious when their routines are disrupted by natural disasters such as a hurricane. Parents should try to address those fears in a factual, reassuring manner. If you remain calm, your children will often follow your behavior.
While we wait for Hurricane Irma, there are resources available:
RB Stewart MS is a hurricane shelter. Please evacuate if you are in Zone A or need a sturdy structure.

When school resumes, our counseling team will be available to help our students as we recover from the effects of Hurricane Irma.
