The Gates Scholarship
The Gates Scholarship is a highly selective, last-dollar scholarship for exceptional, Pell-eligible, minority, high school seniors. Starting in 2018, the scholarship will be awarded to 300 top student leaders each year with the intent of promoting their academic excellence through college graduation, and providing them the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Eligibility requirements:
- A high school senior
- From at least one of the following ethnicities: African American, American Indian/Alaska Native*, Asian/Pacific Islander American, and/or Hispanic American
- Pell-eligible
- A US citizen, national, or permanent resident
- A minimum cumulative weighted GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale

Golden Door Scholarship for DACA recipients.
Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) is an American immigration policy that allows some individuals with unlawful presence in the United States after being brought to the country as children to receive a renewable two-year period of deferred action from deportation and become eligible for a work permit in the U.S.
Eligibility requirements:
Seniors who will attend college in the fall of 2020, who are interested in pursuing a bachelor’s degree. In addition to funding, Golden Door provides 1:1 mentorship, professional development opportunities, and summer internships. They currently support 293 students and have 67 graduates who are working or pursuing a Masters or PHD. (Scholarship will also include undocumented students without DACA)

SPECTRUM BAY NEWS 9 PROJECT WEATHER SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is awarded once each year to seven high school seniors (from Citrus, Hernando, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas and Polk counties) who excel in science. Checks will be presented by a Spectrum Bay News 9 meteorologist at the Spectrum Bay News 9 studios. HEISMAN SCHOLARSHIP
The Heisman High School Scholarship program is looking for all types of high-achieving seniors from more than 29,000 public and private high schools within the U.S. We consider young men and women who participate in a wide range of sports as well as school and community activities.
Eligibility begins with maintaining a weighted GPA of 3.0 (B average) or better. Must be a senior in high school graduating with the class of 2020. Applicants also need to be proven leaders and role models within their school and community. And applicants must perform in at least one of the 47 school sponsored sports recognized by the International Olympic Committee in the Summer and Winter Olympic Games or the National Federation of State High School Associations.

Benefits:
The Lombardi and Stamps Scholarships provide a $2700 stipend per semester and four summer enrichment experiences. Summer experiences include a five-week study abroad in Merida, Mexico the summer before starting classes at UF, a weeklong domestic Outward Bound leadership trip, a two-week service learning trip to the Peruvian Andes, and a three-week study abroad in South Africa. FULL SAIL UNIVERSITY: THE EMERGING TECHNOLOGY SCHOLARSHIP
The Emerging Technology Scholarship program will award a full-tuition scholarship to eligible high school juniors and seniors in Florida pursuing select Full Sail University degree programs. Applicants will need to adhere to the eligibility criteria and strict deadlines outlined in Sections C and D. Finalists will be invited to the Full Sail University campus to participate in a whiteboard problem-solving competition. There will be a very limited number of scholarships awarded to the finalists selected at this on-campus competition.
- Graduate from a Florida high school in 2020 or 2021 (Florida 2020 or 2021 homeschool graduates are eligible to apply).

USF KOSOVE SOCIETY SCHOLARSHIP
The society is actively encouraging freshman applicants to USF to apply for the scholarship. Students who are inducted into the Kosove Society receive a scholarship, total the amount of the estimated cost of attendance. Students are also encouraged and provided funds to participate in academic conferences and fieldwork experiences, as well as study abroad opportunities in order to enhance their educational involvement and expand their horizons.
Requirements: undergraduate with a 3.5 GPA, 1250 SAT or 28 ACT.

GE- REAGAN FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Each year, the Program selects numerous recipients to receive a $10,000 scholarship renewable for up to an additional three years – up to $40,000 total per recipient. Awards are for undergraduate study and may be used for education-related expenses, including tuition, fees, books, supplies, room, and board. In addition, Scholars are invited to participate in a special awards program and receive ongoing leadership-development support.
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for this award, applicants must:
- demonstrate at school, at the workplace, and within the community the attributes of leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship;
- demonstrate strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 grade point average/4.0 scale or equivalent);
- be citizens of the United States of America;
- be current high school seniors attending high school in the United States (students living on U.S. Armed Forces base and homeschooled students are also eligible); and
- plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study toward a bachelor’s degree at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States for the entire upcoming academic year.
Semifinalists will be required to provide a recommendation from a community leader, such as a high school principal, elected official or executive director of a nonprofit organization, and must provide documentation to certify academic performance and financial need. Finalists will be interviewed via Skype or telephone by a member of the selection committee.

JACKIE ROBINSON FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP: The Jackie Robinson Foundation provides a multi-faceted experience designed to not only address the financial needs of minority students who aspire to attend college but also to guide them through the process of higher education.
The JRF scholarship is awarded to outstanding high school graduates who plan to earn a baccalaureate degree from an accredited, four-year college or university. Additional fellowships are given to JRF Scholars to pursue opportunities to work and study abroad (Rachel Robinson International Fellowship) and for post-graduate education (Extra Innings Fellowship).
JRF Scholars receive grants of up to $30,000 over four years to complement the financial aid they receive from their colleges or universities. In addition, Scholars are financially sponsored to attend JRF’s annual four-day “Mentoring and Leadership Conference” in New York City as well as other regional events throughout the year.

SUNSHINE OPPORTUNITY SCHOLARSHIPS
Applications for the 2020 Sunshine Opportunity Scholarships, sponsored by the Godbold Foundation Inc., are available ONLINE at www.sunshineopportunityscholarships.com to high school seniors in Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco counties.
The scholarship application period runs from December 1, 2019 to March 1, 2020. Ten scholarship awards are expected to be made, with winners notified in early April.

The Coolidge Foundation invites the top 100 applicants to participate in its Coolidge Senators Program, which includes an all-expenses- paid Summit Weekend in Washington D.C. and a one time $1000 scholarship.
Applicants who make it to the finalist level, but do not ultimately win the full scholarship, receive a one-time finalist scholarship of $5000.

You are not required to be taking Engineering courses to be eligible.
