Data Driven Decisions

By June 2018, PVMS will increase the MTSS structures by monitoring and problem-solving students with and without disabilities as evidenced by data monitoring documents.

Through team meetings, teachers will review grade-level data to determine at-risk students and develop specific action steps for classroom and/or schoolwide tiered support. Teams notify appropriate stakeholders to assist with support from Tiers of Support Triangles (behavior and academic).

School and teacher teams use data to identify, support, and monitor needs of at-risk students (academic and/or behavior).

School and teacher teams utilize time, staff, and resources to develop core, supplemental, and intensive instruction.

School and teacher teams problem-solve at-risk students and identify possible areas for support specific to an individual’s needs.
