Build capacity in the development and delivery of a guaranteed and viable curriculum for all learners.

  • Pervasive use of the instructional framework to guide deliberate instruction, which is reinforced by our PLCs.

Data Driven Decisions

Build capacity for identifying and responding to individual student needs and increase student achievement toward the mastery of essential standards in all content areas.

  • Use of common formative assessments to monitor and guide student acquisition of knowledge.
  • Intentional use of instructional strategies/interventions that address learning deficiencies.
  • During PLC and MTSS Meetings, teams will assess individual student’s needs and identify necessary interventions to increase student mastery.

Collaborative Culture

Foster an environment in which all stakeholders work together to prioritize student engagement, attendance and achievement.

  • ­A school-wide system will be utilized to promote the use of Positive Behavioral Supports.
  • Parents and community members will be invited to events that promote student achievement and well-being.
  • Communication systems will be used to inform families about their child’s learning experience, as well as the many opportunities available to become an active member of the CougarNation.
