Boosterthon – Boosterthon is kicking off this Tuesday, October 3rd! There will be a pep rally on Tuesday afternoon for all intermediate students, and then all of the important information regarding this exciting program will follow. Please pay attention to all paperwork and email notices, and help us to make this the most successful fundraiser year yet!
Popcorn Fridays – Due to Hurricane Irma, our popcorn days have been rescheduled. Popcorn Friday will be this Friday, October 6th and also on Friday, October 20th. Please remember to send your money in by the Thursdays before if you didn’t purchase a popcorn card earlier this year and you would like to purchase popcorn on these days!
Quarterly Assessments – As the first quarter comes to a close, students will be taking Quarterly Assessments in Math, Science, Reading, and Writing. Throughout the next two weeks, all students will be taking these District-wide Assessments, so attendance is VERY important.
Welcome to Third Grade!
We just want to take a moment to welcome you to third grade and our specialization team website! While you may feel free to contact your child’s teachers with any questions or concerns, we also hope that you will take the time to visit this website on a regular basis so you can stay informed about what your child is doing during his or her STEM and Humanities blocks in school each day. Throughout the year, we will be updating this site as we begin work on new skills, strategies, and learning goals, and will also provide helpful tools to help you support your child’s learning/progress as you practice skills together at home.
We hope all of our families made it through Hurricane Irma ok, and are now looking forward to getting back on track at school and moving forward into an exciting and rewarding third grade year. We look forward to working together as a team to help your child reach his or her highest potential this school year, and thank you in advance for all of your support!
Welcome students and parents to our website. We will be updating our site throughout the school year. We will be making sure to send out an email if there is a new post that I would like you to see.
Here is to a great 3rd Grade Year!
