Dear Parents and Students :<\/p>\n
Hope you are having great summer. If this is your first year welcome to the Class Act Band! We are less than a month away from our camps and I’m very much looking forward to having the band together again and doing what we do best! Our camps are mandatory and our goal is to learn the entire first song possibly the second song (marching and playing) on the field. Yes, even if you never marched before, you will be by the end of camp. Our veteran students and student leaders will help you every step of the way. If you have any transportation issues, please let me know and we’ll try to arrange transportation. Your attendance is vital to our band’s success, and you matter!<\/p>\n
All our camps will be at Hudson High School. We’ll be inside during the hottest time of the day and outside from 5pm – 9pm. If you have not done so already, start going outside to acclimate your body. Make sure to take care of your body by eating breakfast\/lunch\/dinner and drinking fluids before, during and after camp. This will all help you in having fun at camp! Here are the camp times and dates:<\/p>\n

\nDuring band camp we are in need of a hydration\/first aid\/cooldown station from 5pm-9pm. If you are available, please email me at cadams@pasco.k12.fl.us. As we get into the marching season, we will need volunteers to help with chaperoning and concession stand selling. \nThis is a day you won’t want to miss!! We will be playing at a college football game (USF vs. BCU) with the USF HOT Band at Raymond James Stadium. Due to this game being so early in the year we will need to have payments in by the last day of Band Camp, August 2nd. The cost of $60 will cover transportation, lunch, USF game shirt and ticket to the game. We will also need chaperones for this fun day.<\/p>\n
