Hello Band Parent and Guardians,<\/p>\n
Thank you very much for getting your student ready for band class with masks and instrument covers. The students were very cooperative and willing to comply with all the safety measures to keep everyone safe. We saw some very colorful and stylish instrument cover and masks!<\/p>\n
There have been questions about the football schedule and practice\/rehearsal times for the band. Due to Covid-19 we had to do some rearranging of football games and practice\/rehearsal times. After taking a survey of students\u2019s availability we determined Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5pm \u2013 7pm, starting September 8th would be best. If a student can\u2019t get a ride home they may stay in the band room and do homework or practice. If there are circumstances preventing them from attending please let me know. Practices\/Rehearsals are required for traditional brick and mortar students. If online students would like to come join, they are more than welcome to.<\/p>\n

\n10\/9 HHS vs ZCA
\n10\/!6 HHS vs Parish
\n10\/30 HHS vs CCHS<\/p>\n
We won\u2019t be able to wear our band uniforms. Instead we will be wearing our show shirt, marching shoes and jeans. We are still collecting money for show shirts and band shoes. Order forms are in the attachment and are due by August 31st. Also in the attachment you will find information for fair-share which has been reduced due to us not wearing our uniforms for the football games. If you already paid in full the band boosters will refund you the overpaid amount.<\/p>\n

Even though we are social distancing the band is getting closer by showing great compassion for each other.
