Casper Management Suite is a new systems management tool for Macintosh OS X clients that will be used in Pasco County Schools.

  • Casper Self Enrollment is intended for District owned computers only.  Personal devices should not be registered in Casper.  This would allow district management of your personal device.
  • Allows end users to browse available software titles and install them on demand on district owned machines.
  • Easy Buttons provides users access to basic computer maintenance tasks and access to the Web Help Desk
  • Provide Asset Management that will help with computer inventory.
  • Send software updates or other maintenance tasks to registered computers.
  • Enables the district technicians access to your computer for troubleshooting purposes.

  • Restart your computer frequently.  The system updates run in the background, but the computer needs to be restated to take affect.  Closing the lid of a laptop or letting the computer go to sleep will not complete the update process.
