Implementation Date: October 27, 2016
Reminder Options: Patients will now choose how to receive appointment reminder by Text, Email, Both or No Reminder. (See screenshots below for examples) The process for making an appointment has not changed.
Defaults: If patients have not yet used this reminder functionality, it will default to email the same as the current reminders. After first use, that option will now be set as their preferred reminder option with the ability to change.
Notification: On the welcome page there is a message under the New Appointment Scheduler section “You now have the opportunity to select your preferred Appointment Reminder.”
